Atri meets Brahma, Vishnu and Siva ~ Atri Muni performed severe austerities, standing on one leg for one hundred years, and practicing yogic breathing exercises. Due to these breathing exercises, a blazing fire came out of his head, and was seen by the three principal deities, Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma and Lord Siva.The three deities came to the hermitage of Atri Muni, accompanied by denizens of the heavenly planets. As soon as Atri Muni saw them, he became so pleased that he approached them on one leg, despite great difficulty.
